Basically, i'm a joint honours degree in criminology and law and i chose to do my dissertation in criminology so what happens is you do more modules in law in your last year than in criminology. at least this is how it works in scotland and i'm pretty sure it's the same all over and it weighs itself out as your dissertation is the equivalent to a double module. hope that makes sense x.
